GRAMMY¨ winner Natalie Cole speaks at the National Press Club on Wednesday, Oct 19, 2011 in Washington. While in Washington to meet with leading hepatitis C advocates from the National Viral Hepatitis Round table, Cole addressed the National Press Club Tune In to Hep C, a campaign designed to raise awareness of hepatitis C, encourage people to take action and speak with their doctor. The good folks of NCBCP invited me to do makeup again this year for the 14th Annual Spirit of Democracy Award Black & White Gala. What a blessing to work with such a amazing group of people. The host this year was Ms. Star Jones and baby she rocked my world. It was just something about being in her presence. She gave me the ‘goux’ to do whatever makeup look I wanted, which is always awesome for an artist. I kept it simple and chic with a maroon smokey eye and some flirty ardell lashes. Who’s the boss???? I am!!! lol Remember Sam from Who’s the boss? The show with Tony Danza, okay remember Charmed…how about the NFL commercials you saw during the draft…yeah buddy thats Alyssa Milano. One of my favorite childhood stars. I love her and had the pleasure of doing her makeup for the whitehouse correspondent dinner. (Rock ONNNNN!!!!!!) She’s preggers and has a glow out of this world. Look at the pic above that someone sent me…can we say awesome.com/cutestmomever… Yeah I think so!
Owwwww. Can we say best week ever…for me! A bunch of my clients have been WINNING including Julio Jones!!!! Julio Jones WR from Alabama, got drafted by the Atlanta Falcons this weekend. Whoooohoooo! Go Julio! I worked with Julio on an ad for Under Armour and he is so frickin nice and humble. Not to mention fast and huge. He ran a 4.3 in the NFL Combine on a hurt foot…sheeeeesh! No wonder the falcons gave up all those picks for him. He’s the bomb and I’m glad I had the opportunity to work with him! Check him out on twitter @JulioJones82.
